Shipment & Delivery Policy

Effective Date: December 27, 2025

1. Shipping Scope & Coverage

At Xome Store India, we are committed to delivering your favorite electronic gadgets—from smartwatches to projectors—to every corner of the country. We ship to over 25,000+ postal codes across India.

To ensure reliable and safe delivery, we utilize a network of reputed third-party courier partners (such as Delhivery, BlueDart, XpressBees, and DTDC). Please note that currently, we do not ship internationally.

2. Order Processing Protocol

Once you place an order on our website, it enters our processing queue. We believe in quality over speed, ensuring your product is inspected before it leaves our facility.

  • Handling Time: We require 1-2 business days to verify payment, conduct a final quality check, pack the item securely, and dispatch it from our New Delhi warehouse.
  • Cut-off Time: Orders placed after 5:00 PM IST will be processed on the next business day. Orders placed on Sundays or Public Holidays will be processed on the following working day.

3. Estimated Delivery Timelines

While we strive to deliver your products as fast as possible, delivery timelines depend on your geographic location relative to our warehouse in New Delhi.

  • Metro Cities (Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, etc.): Standard delivery is 3-5 business days after dispatch.
  • Rest of India: Standard delivery is 5-7 business days after dispatch.
  • Remote Areas: Deliveries to North East India (Assam, Manipur, etc.), J&K, and rural pin codes may take up to 10-12 days due to logistics challenges.

4. Shipping Charges & Payment Terms

Shipping costs are dynamic and are calculated during checkout based on the volumetric weight of the package and the destination pin code.

Prepaid Only Policy:
To maintain operational efficiency and keep our product prices low, Xome Store India does NOT accept Cash on Delivery (COD). All orders must be fully paid via UPI, Credit/Debit Card, or Net Banking before dispatch.

5. Tracking Your Order

Transparency is key. Once your order is handed over to our logistics partner, we will immediately notify you:

  • You will receive a confirmation Email and SMS containing the Courier Name and the unique Tracking ID (AWB Number).
  • You can track the live status of your shipment on the courier partner's official website or through the "Track Order" link in your email.
  • Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking status to update after receiving the ID.

6. Delivery Issues & Responsibilities

While we partner with the best, issues can occasionally arise. Here is how we handle them:

  • Incomplete Address: We are not responsible for failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer. If a package is returned to us (RTO) due to a wrong address, a re-shipping fee of ₹100 may apply to send it again.
  • Lost Packages: In the rare event that a package is confirmed "Lost in Transit" by the courier partner, we will initiate a full refund or dispatch a replacement after the courier's internal investigation is concluded.
  • Force Majeure: Xome Store India is not liable for delays resulting from unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, heavy rains, strikes, political unrest, or government lockdowns.

7. Damaged Packaging

If the external packaging of your order looks tampered with, crushed, or open at the time of delivery, please DO NOT ACCEPT the shipment. Ask the courier to mark it as "Damaged" and return it. Immediately inform our support team at support@xomestore.com so we can arrange a replacement.

FAQs

My order hasn't arrived yet. Where is it?

A client that's unhappy for a reason is a problem, a client that's unhappy though he or her can't quite put a finger on it is worse. Chances are there wasn't collaboration, communication, and checkpoints, there wasn't a process agreed upon or specified with the granularity required.

It's content strategy gone awry right from the start. Forswearing the use of Lorem Ipsum wouldn't have helped, won't help now. It's like saying you're a bad designer, use less bold text, don't use italics in every other paragraph. True enough, but that's not all that it takes to get things back on track.

Do you deliver on public holidays?

If that's what you think how bout the other way around? How can you evaluate content without design? No typography, no colors, no layout, no styles, all those things that convey the important signals that go beyond the mere textual, hierarchies of information, weight, emphasis, oblique stresses, priorities, all those subtle cues that also have visual and emotional appeal to the reader. Rigid proponents of content strategy may shun the use of dummy copy but then designers might want to ask them to provide style sheets with the copy decks they supply that are in tune with the design direction they require.

Then the question arises: where’s the content? Not there yet? That’s not so bad, there’s dummy copy to the rescue. But worse, what if the fish doesn’t fit in the can, the foot’s to big for the boot? Or to small? To short sentences, to many headings, images too large for the proposed design, or too small, or they fit in but it looks iffy for reasons.
